Lake County wants to honor best in stormwater management

The Lake County Stormwater Management Commission is accepting nominations for efforts to improve water quality, reduce flooding and help restore the natural drainage system.

The award program since 2006 has recognized outstanding efforts by organizations, communities, groups and individuals for projects and other proactive and innovative efforts. Categories for 2018 include: best community, management practice, development, manager and stewardship of the year, as well as an education, outreach and media award.
