County board cuts stop short of hitting home

I was saddened to read how proud the (Du Page) county board was to have made so many cuts to their budget, but nothing was mentioned about cutting their compensation - salary, mileage, benefits ($50,000/year) for only two meetings per month. I have been on two boards in Naperville and never received any monetary reward nor did I expect to. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I know who I won't be voting for this November. Time is up, boys. I am voting for the women.
