Still time to take survey on District 15 school boundary priorities

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 parents and other residents are being asked to take a survey regarding their priorities for potential school boundary changes.

Issued by the District 15 Boundaries Task Force, the survey will help the group form its decisions and next steps in examining the issue. The survey is available at ccsd15.net and will remain open through Oct. 19.

The 37-member task force includes District 15 parents as well as residents without children enrolled in the schools. Officials said there is not a firm timeline in place for if or when school boundaries might change. The advisory panel is expected to develop three or four possible scenarios for new boundaries and refine the ideas based on community feedback.
