Seven vehicles involved in Arlington Heights crash

Seven vehicles crashed on Lake-Cook Road about 1,000 feet west of Arlington Heights road in Arlington Heights around 7:15 p.m. Monday, according to Arlington Heights Police Sergeant Scott Winkelman.

Six people were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Winkelman said.

The vehicles were traveling in both directions on Lake-Cook Road and it is not yet clear what caused the accident, Winkelman said.

Arlington Heights Police are still investigating the incident, Winkelman said.
