Libertyville Fire Department open house set for Oct. 13

The Libertyville Fire Department will host its annual open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Station 1, 1551 N. Milwaukee Ave.

The event features live demonstration by firefighter/paramedics, station tours, fire/rescue equipment displays. children's combat challenge and the children's fire safety house and more. The fire prevention week poster contest winner also will be announced.
