College of DuPage celebrates National Chemistry Week Oct. 27

College of DuPage, in partnership with the American Chemical Society, will host a National Chemistry Week event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Health and Science Center on the college's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

This event is free and open to the public.

"Our National Chemistry Week celebration is a great way to showcase the amazing science happening at COD and in our community," said College of DuPage STEM Outreach Coordinator Sara Spaniol. "From hands-on demonstrations to live experiments to talks from local scientists, it will truly be an out-of-this world experience and fun for all ages."

Based on this year's NCW theme "Chemistry is Out of This World," the day will feature a variety of exhibits, lectures and hands-on experiments designed to inform and entertain.
