Playoff bound

WW South - after three straight 2-7 seasons - clinched its first playoff berth since 2014 with Friday's 24-9 DuKane Conference victory over Lake Park.

Closing in

Glenbard East, which is headed to the playoffs for the first time since 1999, moved a step closer to its first conference title since 1965 by beating Streamwood 63-2.

Deeeeee-fence

Willowbrook came into Friday having allowed the fewest points in the West Suburban Gold. A 49-0 win over Morton keeps the Warriors at 63 points allowed.
