Buffalo Grove Days parade time is too inconvenient
I was very disappointed that - again - the Buffalo Grove Days Parade was held on Sunday morning. For decades, the parade was held at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon on Labor Day Weekend.
The parade is a huge event involving almost 100 floats, youth bands and Scout groups. Sunday morning scheduling clearly conflicts with traditional Sabbath church services and Bible studies.
For 2019, why can't the parade be returned to Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m., or even held on Saturday, or Monday (Labor Day)?
