Learn about textile restoration at Geneva Brown Bag Lunch Oct. 9

The Geneva History Museum will present "Textile Restoration in Your Hometown" at noon Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the museum, 113 S. Third St., Geneva.

Learn how to care for precious family textiles from Eric Severson, owner of Geneva Cleaners and Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network.

Severson will share stories of how he restored and preserved textiles from the Museum's collections that were damaged from a minor leak.

This is a Geneva History Museum Brown Bag Lunch Program held at noon on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May.

Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch and the museum offers cookies, water, tea and coffee.

Admission is $5 each or $3 for museum members. Registration is encouraged to ensure seating and can be made at GenevaHistoryMuseum.org or by calling (630) 232-4951.
