Palatine library hosts beekeeping presentation Oct. 16

The Palatine Public Library District will host a free adult program for those interested in beekeeping, from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The program will feature Reid Root of the Fox Valley Beekeepers Association sharing his experiences as a beekeeper. He is expected to explain how honey is made and the importance of bees. Honey will be available for purchase.
