Candidates forum Oct. 6 at Barrington library

Candidates in state and federal races have been invited to a forum Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Barrington Area Library.

Candidates invited to the event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., include 51st House District Republican Rep. Helene Miller Walsh and Democrat Mary Edly-Allen; 26th Senate District Republican incumbent Sen. Dan McConchie and Democrat Tom Georges; and 6th Congressional District Republican incumbent Rep. Peter Roskam and Democrat Sean Casten.

The forum is among three being co-sponsored at area libraries in October by the League of Women Voters of Palatine and the League of Women Voters Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect-Buffalo Grove. For more information, visit lwvahforums.com.
