Lombard's Fall Fest returns Oct. 6

The Lombard Park District is enjoying all the colorful autumn changes with the annual Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 6. This free event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lombard Common, east of Paradise Bay Water Park, 433 E. St. Charles Road, Lombard.

The Fall Fest will have activities for everyone including games,

a DJ, moon bounce, hayrides, face paintings, candy hunt, Boo Bingo and more!

Children who would like to participate in the pumpkin decorating contest should have their pumpkin complete by 3:45 p.m. where winners will be announced.

New this year is the Howl-O-Weenie competition, inviting participants to bring their dogs in costume for a parade and awards from 2 to 3 p.m.

Do not forget to stop by the Pumpkin Patch where each child can pick out their own pumpkin to bring home whether they participate in the decorating contest or not!
