Boys golf: Kaneland shoots school record behind Marshall's 63

Kaneland's boys golf team won the Northern Illinois Big XII championship Wednesday by shooting a school-record 293.

Kaneland finished 5 shots ahead of DeKalb at Senica Oak Ridge Golf Club.

Will Marshall was the conference MVP, winning the tournament with another school record of 9-under par 63.

Ryan Milton shot 1-over par 73 for Kaneland, Bryce Stair shot 5-over par 77, and Michael Partoll shot 80.

Kaneland will play next Tuesday in Sycamore at the Class 2A regional.
