CLC to host opening reception for new Science Building

The College of Lake County is hosting an opening reception for the new Science Building Wednesday afternoon.

The college will offer tours of the new facility. CLC's new president, Lori Suddick, will deliver opening remarks.

The building opened for students in January. The college has been decorated with awards for the use of green technology they employed in the building's construction, including geothermal wells, a green roof and toilets that use rain water.

The event will run from 4 to 6 p.m.
