Batavia
• A 20-inch Hyper BMX bicycle was stolen out of an apartments's storage unit on the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, it was reported at 11:04 a.m. Sept. 10.
• A $37 bottle of Hennessy cognac was stolen from the Shell/Circle K store, 108 N. Batavia Ave., it was reported at 6:31 p.m. Sept. 10.
• A blue Makita 10-inch slide miter saw with a red blade and yellow DeWalt stand brackets was stolen on the 1200 block of Millview Drive, it was reported at 12:21 p.m. Sept. 9.
• Evette H. Munoz, 38, of the 1300 block of South Union Street, Montgomery, was processed at the Batavia Police Department Sept. 7 on a warrant for two charges of felony retail theft, according to police.
• Juan M. Gonzalez, 61, of the 100 block of South State Street, Aurora, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct at 9:27 a.m. Sept. 6 on the 0-99 block of South Randall Road, according to police.
• A black Timex Expedition digital watch was stolen from Walmart, 801 N. Randall Road, it was reported at 3:09 p.m. Sept. 6.
• Sixteen or 17 black, flat, double-jacketed 6- and 8-gauge spools of wire were stolen on the 900 block of Main Street, it was reported at 10:39 a.m. Sept. 5.
• 23 miscellaneous tools were stolen between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2 out of a vehicle at Metro Self-Storage, 500 N. Kirk Road.
• Tyler J. Hummel, 25, of the 200 block of South Forest Avenue, was charged with felony retail theft at 8:12 a.m. Sept. 2 at Target, 115 N. Randall Road, according to police.
Kane County
• Michael A. Rice, 47, of the 34W300 block of Courier Avenue, St. Charles, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery and criminal damage to property about 7:32 p.m. Thursday, according to a sheriff's report. Rice is accused of using a knife to harass and threaten a man earlier that day on the 6N500 block of Route 25 and slashing the tires on his bike, the report said.
• Michael L. Hendrix, 46, of the 1000 block of Apple Court, Aurora, was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery and interfering with domestic violence reporting at 5 p.m. Saturday, according to a sheriff's report. He is accused of pushing and pulling a woman out of a car in a driveway on the 700 block of Sumner Avenue near Aurora, the report said.
