Enjoy Harvest Fest at the Lake County Fairgrounds Sept. 22 and 23

Harvest Fest comes to the Lake County Fairgrounds this weekend, with the Farm Heritage Days Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 22 and 23, and Oktoberfest on Saturday.

The Lake County Farm Heritage Association's annual Farm Heritage Days and celebrates Lake County's historic agricultural heritage. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Farm Heritage Days tickets are $10 for adult admission, $5 for ages 6-12 and 65 and older and for LCFA members, and free for ages 5 and younger. Parking is free.

The event will feature antique tractors and a tractor parade, barrel train rides, farm demonstrations, Drive-A-Tractor, a make-a-rope activity, pumpkin carving, scarecrow making, vendors, sheep and duck herding demonstrations, a sawmill demonstration, a small engine display and more. There will also be farm animals, wagon rides, children's activities and other attractions.

Oktoberfest will take place from 5-11 p.m. Sept. 22. The event features beer, food, live music and other entertainment. Admission is $10, or $5 for LCFHA members, and is free with paid admission to Harves Fest.

Mobile Room Escape will be on hand to offer an escape room experience for free with Oktoberfest admission, and Sam Adams will present a Stein Hoisting Challenge.

Oktoberfest takes place inside the Event Center and Farm Heritage Days events take place inside and outside; both events will proceed rain or shine.
