Road closure in Lake County

A stretch of Aptakisic Road through Lincolnshire and Buffalo Grove will be closed starting 6 a.m. Sept. 21 so Canadian National Railroad crews can improve a bumpy train crossing. The road will be closed between Prairie Road and Milwaukee Avenue through Sept. 28. Local traffic will be allowed between Milwaukee Avenue and Bond Street and between Prairie and Weiland roads. Motorists should use Route 22 as a detour.
