Music lesson studio to host ribbon-cutting Sept. 19

Cambridge Studio will now be housed inside Cambridge Lakes Learning Center in Pingree Grove.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m. outside of the Purple School building. The event is free and open to the public.

Representatives from the Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce will also be in attendance.

A reception will be held in the Purple School following the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

There will be live music performances and refreshments.

At the same time, an instrument trial will also be taking place. All in attendance will have the opportunity to try out different musical instruments and speak with Studio instructors.

The instrument trial is scheduled to last from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Students should have a parent or guardian with them for the duration of the event.

Cambridge Studio was previously located at Starks Corner in Pingree Grove.
