A 17-year-old juvenile faces several charges after robbing someone at knife point, Round Lake Park police said in a news release Monday.

The victim had been held in a garage and was robbed by two people in the 300 block of Elder Drive about 7 p.m. Sunday, police said. The offenders took a cellphone and jewelry.

One suspect was taken into custody by officers, and witnesses identified the offender as a juvenile. That juvenile faces armed robbery, aggravated armed robbery and robbery charges, police said.

The juvenile has been taken to the Depke Juvenile Detention Center near Vernon Hills, authorities said. His next court date is unknown.
