Pritzker has the right plan for Illinois

JB Pritzker has a long history of being able to help create jobs and has promising plans for the people of Illinois.

Among them is a plan for expanding early childhood education, which will help improve our kids' learning skills at an earlier age allowing them to excel later in life. Our nation is lagging when it comes to reading and math scores, and it will take bold steps to give our children the tools they need to compete.

JB Pritzker also has a plan for expanding health care for the people of Illinois when our current federal government has been relentless in trying to take it away from those who need it most. His plan to create one of our country's first public option programs called "IllinoisCares" is going to show America that Illinois is leading the charge and will be an example of how a national single-payer or a "Medicare for All" program can work.

JB Pritzker supports having a strong union workforce which is how American families have been able to succeed. Bruce Rauner ran for office with one goal and that was to destroy our unions and he held our state hostage for this reason by not signing a budget for over two years. By demanding safety in the workplace, fair wages and decent health care, union workers are better protected from injuries, are more able to raise a family without having to resort to government assistance, and are better protected from bankruptcy if they or their child gets sick.

The Nov. 6 midterm elections are only a short time away and I will be casting my vote for JB Pritzker. When comparing his plans for our great state to Bruce Rauner's record, a vote for JB Pritzker is the correct vote.
