District 75 brat fest set for Saturday in Mundelein

Mundelein District 75 administrators, school board and parent-teacher organization is hosting the annual brat fest from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Carl Sandburg Middle School, 855 W. Hawley Street, Mundelein.

A complete meal deal is $5 and includes a brat, hot dog or tamale; roasted corn on the cob; chips; and soda or water. Items may be purchased separately, as well.

The event also will feature family activities such as face painting, carnival games, a bounce house and obstacle course. Activities are $1 each.

Proceeds go to the District 75 PTO, which helps fund teacher grants, assemblies, after-school clubs and much more for district schools.
