Canned food drive at Mundelein High:

Mundelein High School's Mustang Booster Club will hold a canned food drive at the home football games on Sept. 28. The organization hopes to restock the Mundelein High and Fremont Township food pantries. Collection boxes will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the gates. The games are at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Needed items include: canned fruits, beans, vegetables, sauces, soups and chili; baby formula and diapers; peanut butter and jelly; pasta; breakfast foods like pancake mix and instant oatmeal; and toiletries.
