Grains mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was off 4.20 cents at $5.09 a bushel; Sept. corn rose 1.60 cents at $3.42 a bushel; Sept. oats fell 4.60 cents at $2.4940 a bushel while Sep. soybeans lost 5.20 cents at 8.1940 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Aug. live cattle was up 1.70 cents at $1.0960 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle rose .17 cent at $1.4945 a pound; Oct. lean hogs was off .60 cent at .5165 a pound.
