Burlington Central picked up the first win of the season 4-2 over Johnsburg with first-half goals by Nick Varga, assisted by Nick Guy, and Macallan Butler, assisted by Samy Awad.

Vargas also scored in the second half, along with a final goal from Josh Madsen on an assist from Jack DiBuono. Tristan Samuelian had 7 saves for the Rockets (1-3-1).

Streamwood 4, Rockford Boylan 1: Alex Chavez led the offense for Streamwood with 2 goals, while Leo Magana had 2 assists. Hector Alfaro saved 4 shots on goal for the Sabres.

Crystal Lake South 4, Marian Central 1: Ryan Coughlin and Tom Coughlin had a goal and an assist each to lead Crystal Lake South to victory. Oscar Estrada and Matt McCaleb combined for 1 save and 1 goal allowed for the Gators.

St. Edward 4, Harvest Christian 0: Behind Josh Johansen's "natural hat trick," the Wave was able to shake off a sluggish start to down the Lions in this Randall Road tilt. Another solid effort by the back line gave the Wave their 3rd shutout in 4 games this season. Evan Sajtar racked up 5 saves for St. Edward.

Naperville North 5, Geneva 1: Zachary Smith scored 2 goals for Naperville North and Ty Konrad added 2 assists. Thomas Welch and Jason Barba shared goaltending duties for the Huskies.
