Boys soccer: Elgin edges St. Charles East on PKs

Omar Lopez scored 2 goals leading Elgin to a 3-2 win over St. Charles East on Wednesday.

The Maroons (3-0) led 2-0 at halftime. They won the game on penalty kicks, 5-4.

Lopez now has 10 goals this season.

Renato Avendano scored the first Saints goal on an assist from Sebastian Carranza.

Carranza scored the next St. Charles East goal on a penalty kick. The Saints are now 1-2.
