Senior health fair Wednesday in Arlington Heights

State Sen. Tom Rooney will host a senior health fair Wednesday morning at the Lutheran Home chapel in Arlington Heights, offering free screenings and information.

Screenings will be available for blood pressure, blood sugar, hearing and stroke. Jewel-Osco pharmacy will also offer tetanus booster shots, pneumonia and shingle shots. Attendees are asked to bring Medicare Part B cards or prescription cards.

The event runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at 800 W. Oakton St. No registration or entrance fee is required. For more information, call (847) 776-1490.
