District 62 forming teams to address goals in strategic plan

Des Plaines Elementary District 62 is in the process of forming community Action Plan Teams that will begin in October as part of the district's strategic plan.

In June, the school board adopted a five-year strategic plan, with five goals and 13 identified strategies, which will be addressed this fall. A complete listing of the strategies and priorities can be found at http://board.d62.org/documents/StrategicPlan_Leaflet.pdf.

The purpose of the Action Plan Teams will be to review the five strategies and determine next steps surrounding their implementation. To complete the application to join a team and learn more about the details surrounding the process, go to bit.ly/62actionplanteam.

Those interested must apply by Aug. 31. Each action plan team will be made up of no more than 10 people.
