Naperville Park District financial reports available online and in print

Naperville Park District's 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is available online at www.napervilleparks.org.

The report was audited in spring 2018 by Lauterbach and Amen, LLP, receiving an unqualified opinion, which is the highest opinion that can be received.

Each year, the park district also issues an annual report intended for anyone who wants to learn more about the park district.

This report is a brief overview of the district's finances and recent accomplishments in a reader-friendly format.

The 2017 Annual Report highlights the park district's 2017 activities and accomplishments that help fulfill its mission to "provide recreation and park experiences that promote healthy lives, healthy minds and a healthy community." The report also documents the district's ongoing stewardship of resources and the value of its parks and services to the community.

Paper copies of the 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and the 2017 Annual Report also are available at the Park District Administration Building, 320 W. Jackson Ave.

The Naperville Park District's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report has received the Certificate for Achievement in Financial Reporting from the Government Financial Officers Association each year since 1982. The district's annual report also has received an Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting each year since 2012.
