Care for public art shows city's pride

My wife and I were pleased to read Marie Wilson's recent piece on the importance of, and dedication to, keeping Naperville's museum-quality public art in top condition. It has always been our contention that a city's monuments reflect what it thinks of others, while its public art reflects what it thinks of itself. And in Naperville's case we believe our Century Walk shows the high regard we have for our city and each other.

We are grateful for the Century Walk Corp.'s assiduous attention to our public art because the better it looks, the better we all look.
