Changing times is no argument for gun control

After reading another liberal Second Amendment zealot, I had to reply. To Charles Brown of Naperville: Yes, the Second Amendment was signed in 1791 and no, there were no AR or AK riffles at that time. But you have to realize that 219 years ago there weren't a lot of things; cars, trucks, electricity, trains, etc. And when it was signed, muskets and or muzzle loaders were the military weapons.

So horse and buggies turned into cars. Things change, we don't use horse and buggies anymore and we don't use muskets or muzzle loaders, either. And as for an AR-15, in all reality it is only a "military" look-alike. It is nothing more than a .22, and if you deployed any military with that gun, they wouldn't last 20 minutes in battle.

Times change and so does everything around us. Guns are no different.

As for the call for gun control, banning guns will do absolutely nothing to keep criminals from possessing guns. So why take guns away from honest people and make sure that criminals are the only ones that have them?

The top five most dangerous cities in America are Chicago, Detroit, Washington, D.C., St. Louis and New Orleans. America is third in murders in the world. But if you take away these five cities that have the strictest gun laws in the country, America would be 189th out of 193. Says something about gun control and how it really does not work.
