Vehicle Accident Resulting in Critical Injuries
Lindenhurst, Illinois - The Lindenhurst Police Department continues to investigate a motor vehicle accident involving a 2007 Dodge minivan and young child. The accident occurred on Friday, August 10, 2018 at approximately 7:00pm, as the young child was crossing Grand Avenue from Hillcrest Lane.
The child suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital by the Lake Villa Fire Department. The driver of the minivan was not injured. The Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) responded to assist in the investigation.
