Arlington Heights hospital to host blood drive Aug. 15

Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15.

The effort, being held in partnership with the American Red Cross, will be in the hospital's conference room 6-7 at 800 W. Central Road.

Donors are advised to bring a photo ID or blood donor card, or two forms of identification, eat a healthy meal and drink an extra 16-ounce glass of water and/or fluids before the donation.
