August 'Images' celebrates alumni success while dishing up family recipe

"Images," College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its August edition segments on COD alumnus Azeam Anjum, 2018 Outstanding Graduates Anna Gorman and Molly Langlotz, Overall Outstanding Faculty Member Tom Carter and a recipe from Culinary and Hospitality Management professor Chris Thielman.

Each month, "Images" highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.

August "Images" features Azeam Anjum, who graduated from COD with an Associate in Engineering Science degree. Anjum continued his education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He now works as a fossil power technologies engineer at Sargent & Lundy, LLC, and credits COD for providing him with early internship opportunities that set a foundation for his career.

The show also highlights Outstanding Graduates Anna Gorman and Molly Langlotz, whose achievements demonstrate determination and success. Langlotz discusses her journey from an unstable childhood to earning her Associate in Arts degree, while Gorman reflects on the value of becoming involved in campus activities and organizations.

COD's 2018 Overall Outstanding Faculty Member is also featured in August "Images." Carter, a professor of physics, expresses pride in teaching at a community college because it allows him to have a positive effect on a large number of people.

This edition also includes Culinary and Hospitality Management professor Chris Thielman, who shares a family recipe for kugelis, a potato and egg casserole.
