Epic Cheer Team held a Fundraiser Night at Barrington McDonald's

Barrington, IL- On Monday August 6th the Epic Cheerleading Team held a fundraiser night at the Barrington McDonald's located at 227 W. Northwest Highway. The restaurant was taken over by coach's, park district team members and team parents as they worked behind the counter to serve their families to raise money to help support their team.

The Epic Cheer McCoach's night took place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and during the event 20% of the night's sales from Epic Cheer families were donated directly to the team. The money raised during this event will go towards the team's trip to nationals this year. Owner Operator Marc Bear also donated a case of fresh apple pies for the team to sell at the event.

Barrington Park District Recreation Supervisor Kent Hengels wore the pie costume the entire event and had many pie helpers during this time.

Owner Operator Marc Bear couldn't have been happier with the night's events:

"We are proud to serve the families of the Barrington community and through McCoach's Night, we are able to not only help provide financial support, but help team members feel connected to their teammates, coaches, and community."

The McCoach's Night is part of McDonald's larger commitment to initiatives supporting families and the local community.

A special thank you goes to Barrington Park District Recreation Supervisor Anna Siegel and Epic Cheer Head Coach Patty DiMonte, who organized the event as well as everyone that worked and attended the event. The team had a spectacular night of staff, students and parents meeting and socializing while helping to raise funds for their team.
