Where are consequences for bad behaviors?

America has turned a corner into a dark place when people with opposing views are attacked because of who they vote for or work for. Nastiness started during the George W. Bush administration due to the liberal/progressive decision that he shouldn't have been elected.

Quiet during the eight years of President Obama, the pot has stirred with President Donald Trump being elected. This wasn't supposed to happen, either. From the fires in the streets during his inauguration, women demonstrating wearing pink hats representing their body parts, it has only intensified during the last months. Republicans being accosted because of who they are in our free country. Even here in Arlington Heights, the Republicans of Wheeling Township headquarters had a brick thrown in its window which hit the front desk. Gratefully no one was working at the time.

Where are the consequences of this madness? The news media is not calling out these actions. If this were happening during the last administration, racism would have been the headlines.

Why are we allowing people from other countries telling us how we should run our country, climbing our statue of liberty? Why don't they return to their countries using their energy to confront their leaders for change? Waiting for an answer.
