If we won't enforce law, end it
I am frustrated and tired of seeing all the complaints about our immigration laws and system. The call for reform of our immigration laws is a constant in our Congress and by our pundits in the media.
Yet I don't recall seeing a single word being published or spoken that offers an outline as to how the laws should be reformed. All I see is complaints … but nobody offers a way to fix the system. Nobody wants to arrest or deport illegal aliens ... especially if they have a family. Yet nobody wants to build a wall or implement measures to secure our borders. Basically, nobody wants our immigration laws enforced. We have sanctuary cities and states with mayors and governors aiding and abetting illegals to avoid arrest and prosecution under our current laws.
So … I have the solution … just eliminate our immigration laws and immigration departments. Declare open borders for anyone who wants to come into the country. Since nobody seems to want to enforce these laws it makes no sense to have continue to have the laws or a department that tries to enforce the laws. Therefore, there would be no illegal aliens to arrest and prosecute. We would no longer have to spend millions and perhaps billion of dollars to man and maintain an immigration department and points of entry. So, we end the debate, and save money in the process.
Anyone who is against this proposal is obviously an uncaring, anti-immigrant, bigoted, racist.
