Trying to do something

As an agnostic with a daughter, I vastly prefer the type of Christianity that father Pfleger shows by trying to do something about gang violence. Somebody needs to pay attention to those neighborhoods, to the sort of Christianity peddled by Hobby Lobby to try to control people's reproductive sovereignty, and I appreciate our senators at least making an effort to block Supreme Court Justices who were essentially picked based on their religious beliefs, which is, of course, against the First Amendment.

After all, it should be Merrick Garland on there, nothing wrong with blocking anymore.

Anyway, Happy Bicentennial everyone. My family and I are proud to live in Illinois. Let's look after each other and try to turn this state around.
