Tactics of confrontation won't change soon
Democrats have been playing hardball for some time.
Whether it is Rep. Jan Schakowsky's husband organizing thugs to crash the Trump campaign rally in Chicago or Kathy Griffin holding a severed Trump head, it goes on.
Sarah Sanders is chased out of a restaurant and down the street. Trump's granddaughter Chloe and son Baron are targeted with horrible threats. Florida Attorney General, Pam Bondi is chased out of a theater as was Vice President Mike Pence at Hamilton. Senate Majority Leader McConnell and his wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, are accosted at Georgetown. EPA head Scott Pruitt is confronted while having lunch.
Now Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters openly calls for more uncivil and potentially violent behavior. She says that she's done with "nice guy" politics. I hope this will end but Democrats continue to rationalize and encourage this open violence. Democratic U.S. Representative candidate Sean Casten recently said if things don't go his way, it will be "massive wealth redistribution" or "violence in the streets."
I don't see Democrats changing tactics any time soon.
