Party in the Park in Hoffman Estates Aug. 4

The Hoffman Estates Park District will host its annual Party in the Park from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Fabbrini Park, 1704 Glen Lake Road in Hoffman Estates.

Multicultural groups, presented in part by the village of Hoffman Estates' Cultural Awareness Commission, will perform. Dick Diamond and the Dusters will perform live music from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Admission is free. Wristbands will be available for $10 that include children's games, activities, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables and a 24-foot climbing wall.

Many other activities will be free, such as a community walk around the pond at 2 p.m. A food tent will operate throughout the event.
