Lake in the Hills Rockin' Ribfest
Enjoy the combo of bands and barbecue at Lake in the Hills Rockin' Ribfest, at Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, Lake in the Hills. Vendors and kids games are also featured. 55th Annual Championship Rodeo
Watch bull riding and more at the 55th Annual IPRA Championship Rodeo at Case and Rand roads, Wauconda. Itasca Fest
Bring the family for carnival rides, music, food vendors and more at Itasca Fest at Washington Park, 350 E. Irving Park Road, Itasca. The event includes a Flea Market from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and a Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. First Folio Theatre's 'Shrew'd!'

Display of Gradens at Cantigny Park
Check out the Display Gardens of Wheaton's Cantigny Park, which are reopening on Saturday at 1s151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. Then stick around that evening for a concert by the West Suburban Symphony Orchestra performing American classical music. Free admission to the garden; parking $5-$10.
