Geneva customers can start and stop utilities online

New to Geneva or moving out of town? People can now stop or stop utility services from the convenience of the city's website.

The online forms for both residential and commercial utility customers can be found by visiting www.geneva.il.us and clicking the "Online Bill Pay" button on the city's homepage.

The forms link is displayed on the webpage's blue menu bar. Both forms are mobile-friendly.

Customers who submit information electronically to the city also have the option to receive an email copy for their records. The move to a digital format helps the city reduce the use of paper.

Starting July 2, the city's Finance Division will no longer be accepting start/stop utility service requests over the phone.

Customers will be directed to the city's website, www.geneva.il.us, or they can visit the finance office at 15 S. First St. Normal business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
