Volo Auto Museum restores Disney bus

Volo Auto Museum will offer a magical experience to guests on Aug. 11 - a chance to ride a Disney double-decker Omni-bus.

These very British people movers debuted at Disneyland in August 1956 as another way guests could move around the California park. The double-decker buses eventually made their way to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, as well.

In 1982, this particular Omni-bus began service in Epcot at Disney World, transporting passengers around the park's World Showcase. After becoming a "Characters on Holiday" bus, hauling iconic Disney stars in daily parades, this lovable lorry was retired in the early 2000s.

The museum recently located the vehicle, dilapidated and still in Florida, and had it fully restored. Get more info at volocars.com.
