A rush to replace Kennedy

With the announced retirement of Chief Justice Kennedy will the GOP controlled Congress delay the confirmation of his replacement until after the midterm elections like they refused to hold confirmation hearings for President Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court until after the elections? Fat chance. They will rush to fill the empty slot rather than take a chance on the Democrats potentially holding up a GOP nominee's confirmation.
