All fun and games at Frontier Days

Hockey and hard rock were among the highlights Tuesday at Arlington Heights' Frontier Days festival.

Kids and adults gathered on the tennis courts at Recreation Park to learn hockey skills from members Rolling Meadows Renegades hockey club, while beanbags flew the air at the soccer field during the fest's annual bags tournament.

The night was capped by a performance from the Grammy-nominated rock band Tonic on the main stage.

The six-day fest wraps up Wednesday with a decorated bike parade, a visit from the famed Jesse White Tumblers, pie- and rib-eating contests and a performance by the Beatles tribute band American English.
