Art of Rap fest at RiverEdge Park in Aurora canceled

The Art of Rap fest scheduled for July 14 at RiverEdge Park in Aurora was canceled, organizers said Tuesday.
In a message to ticket buyers and RiverEdge Park patrons, the organizers said the event "didn't work out this year" but they are going to try again next year.
"We plan on meeting with local rap/hip-hop/R&B artists and presenters in the fall," the organizers said in the message. "Our goal is to put together a show or festival next summer showcasing local rap artists and possibly a national headliner."
All tickets will be refunded. For details, call the RiverEdge box office at (630) 896-6666.
