Crime book discussion at Palatine Public Library
The Palatine Public Library District will host a discussion for adults who enjoy books about crime, from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 11.
The crime readers chat will be on "The Shadow District" by Arnaldur Indridason. The book is about a suspicious death in contemporary Iceland linked to the murder of a young woman in Reykjavik during the American occupation in 1944.
Copies are available at the first-floor reader assistance desk at the main library at 700 N. North Court. To sign up for the free program, call (847) 358-5881, ext. 132 or visit palatinelibrary.org.
