Grow a moral backbone

I was in total agreement with Ron McGregor's June 23 letter "President's behavior embarrasses nation." I too am embarrassed to be an American. I am so ashamed of our behavior as a country and the cowardly behavior of our elected officials. Mr. McGregor's article should be repeated daily with a sign-on sheet so our elected officials will know who will be voting them out of office. The response that they cannot pass any legislation is not acceptable. Stand on a desk and yell. Talk to the media. Write articles for newspapers. Speak loudly. Make your voices heard. Tell the truth. Little babies are in cages crying in the night while you sit pretending to be doing the job you were elected to do. Grow a moral backbone and be an American.
