Bensenville plans public works open house

Bensenville will sponsor its second annual Public Works Open House from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at 717 E. Jefferson St.

The event gives residents a chance to learn about forestry, streets, water management, building services, emergency management and to meet the people who often work behind the scenes.

Activities will include a tree-planting ceremony, Touch-A-Truck, rubber duck races, giveaways, paper shredding and free food.
