Grains mixed and livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mixed Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 3.60 cents at $4.7240 a bushel; Jul corn was up 3.20 cents at $3.5360 a bushel; July oats lost 1.40 cents at $2.40 a bushel while July soybeans was unchanged at at $8.7460 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle rose .40 cents at $1.0638 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was up .62 cent at $1.4570 a pound; July lean hogs gained 1.40 cents at .7955 a pound.
