Partial closure of Old McHenry Road in Long Grove postponed

A partial closure of Old McHenry Road in downtown Long Grove to accommodate construction will not start as scheduled Monday, June 25, according to Lake County Division of Transportation officials. The originally scheduled work was postponed due to a utility conflict, the agency said. A new detour start date will be provided when an updated schedule is available. The closure will be necessary as part of the Old McHenry Road reconstruction and intersection improvements at Robert Parker Coffin Road. Downtown Long Grove businesses will remain open and access continue through the project scheduled to last until November.
